A Watchman’s Warning

Jesus will return

Two thousand years ago Jesus promised that He would one day return. That day is nearly here. This time He is coming in all His power and glory and everyone will kneel before Him “The King Of Kings” if you have not confessed your sins and asked Jesus for His forgiveness, you will be sentenced to an eternity in the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15

“But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:34-36

Judgement comes with plenty of warning

God always warned humankind before any judgement was delivered. Before the flood Noah preached for 98 years, warning men of the coming judgement, they didn’t listen. The bible warns about the coming judgement over and over again, Christians throughout history have warned about the coming judgement, and in these last days many Christians have been warning that the time is nearly up. There has been plenty of warning! What will your decision be?

The sleeping Christian

A lot of churches do not teach Bible Prophecy, worst yet Replacement Theology is taught, which falsely teaches that the Church has replaced Israel (Romans 11:1-2) Most of these teachers won’t admit to this belief directly and will usually skirt around the question and give an answer something along the lines of, I hope that lots of Jews become Christians. As a result of this lack of teaching we have many Christians who are apathetic about the the times we are living in and blind to the signs God is sending, alerting us of His soon return. We all have unbelieving family or friends who need to hear about God’s love and His redemption plan, if only those sleeping Christians (Matthew 25 1:13) would wake up and realise the fig tree has  grown its leaves and that God is at the door. (Matthew 24:32-33) Jesus rebuked the pharisees for not being able to discern the signs of the times (Matthew 16:1-4) If we all would just realised that His second coming is just around the corner, how fervently would we be talking to everyone we came in contact with about our Heavenly Father’s great plan to save us through faith in His son Jesus Christ?
